Their broad range of solutions provide expertise across a diverse range of industry sectors including telco, utilities, oil & gas, mining, medical and aerospace to name a few. They have experienced exceptional recent growth globally and as a result have extra head count in Australia to bring on board a Key Account Manager to focus on all existing telco accounts, with a large part of that being different areas across Telstra.
Reporting to the APAC Sales Director, you will be a trusted advisor to your clients and provide an exceptional level of customer service. Your role will encompass end to end management of existing telco accounts, with a focus on Telstra. You will work closely with pre-sales and delivery teams, particularly during proposal negotiations, so as to ensure best possible outcomes for your clients. You will also conduct stakeholder meetings, assist with formal engagement proposals, prepare sales strategies and presentations and act as a reliable single point of contact for your client.
You are an exceptional relationship manager, with the ability to engage at all levels and work through complex scenarios. You are driven to succeed and have a demonstrable track record of account growth success and a history of over-achieving on designated sales quotas.
- 5+ years in B2B telco or ICT sales
- Experience selling into the Telstra account
- Have worked for either Telstra or Optus, and understand the landscape of those types of companies.
- Proven performance against targets.
On offer for the successful candidate is a base salary of $120K + super + a rewarding commission structure. There may be some flex here for the right candidate, so please inquire even if this is not quite in the vicinity of your requirements.
