This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting new division of a well established global leader in the provision of business information solutions around research, risk and media intelligence. They have recently developed and launched a cutting-edge new cloud solution that has taken the market by storm and is creating a huge demand in the market place. To facilitate this rapid growth, this is a newly created BDM role that has a national territory and is based in their brand new Chatswood offices.
Your primary remit in this position will be to develop new name mid-market and enterprise accounts across a broad range of industry sectors. You will manage the entire sales cycle from the discovery meeting through to closing the sales. You will be responsible for developing powerful client relationships and executing on specific sales strategy. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to assist you in delivering quality business outcomes for your clients. You will utilize your C-level network and target account knowledge to develop pipeline and win new name accounts. You will reap the benefits of not only exceptional sales support, but also any support from senior management that you need. Delivering on business value for your clients is what will drive you in this role and you will have the backing to do so at every turn.
To be considered, you will ideally possess the following attributes:
- A proven track record of new business acquisition
- Have experience with sales methodologies such as TAS, SPIN, Miller Heiman.
- Have subscription based sales experience.
- A passion for delivering exceptional business value and successful outcomes to your clients.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and collaborative nature.
- 4+ years proven target achievement in a related sales environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to represent the cutting edge of technology and services for this industry.
